VOLUNTEER
WOODFIELD PAVILION
I volunteer at a local community centre. I help to manage the Woodfield's social media and run events such as Creative Chat sessions and open mic poetry nights monthly to help support and inspire fellow creatives.

I also write reflections and discussion notes on each Creative Chats session - I get together a group of creatives
to inspire and motivate each other and chat about different topics that fuel our creativity.

PODCAST PRODUCER
Givey
I produced a podcast made for Givey, an online fundraising donation platform:

The Givey Community is a sonic space for empathy and kindfulness. Where you can immerse yourself in the stories and perspectives of the people in our community, creating a sense of presence that allows you to bring more meaning to your acts of kindness.
(What is Kindfulness? Click the link to read my blog on it)

Listen to my favourite episode below where you can sonically visit the Whitehawk Foodbank and listen to the beautifully human voices of volunteers working to help people become self-sufficient and break the cycle of dependence on food banks.

Volunteer PODCAST PRODUCER
Morley Radio
I was a volunteer at Morley Radio for over 2 years, I produced In the Company Of, a podcast that highlights the unique life stories and interests of the staff at Morley College.

I also edited and studio-managed recording sessions for other Morley Radio podcasts such as The Imposters Club, and developed engaging social media content.

Have a listen below to my favourite episode of In the Company Of. Where guest Ronit talks about her fascinating study of Emma Cons, the woman behind Morley College and the reopening of the Old Vic back in the late 1800s!

Pass with Distinction
I worked with a team of classmates to produce six hours of content for our cohort's fictional radio station, Raft Radio. Each week, the station was under a different demographic brief, which challenged us to tailor our content to specific audiences. It was an exciting and dynamic project that allowed me to hone my skills in producing engaging and relevant radio content with a quick turn around.

RADIO PRESENTER
Jubliant FM
My show was called Dancing in the Kitchen.
My show was based on a playlist I made for myself that has bought me many hours of joy dancing in my kitchen alone. I thought it was quite fitting for the lockdown times I was presenting in.
